Strong Kiteboarding offers kiteboarding lessons as well as all-inclusive kiteboarding tours on Vancouver Island. Our instructors have been kiteboarding for more than 6 years and have lived on Vancouver Island for more than 25 years. Strong Kiteboarding’s IKO certified instructors are trained to take you through everything there is to know about the sport. Our goal is to teach you how to kiteboard safely and comfortably.
Our Intro to Kiteboarding lesson offers personal one-to-one instruction that covers all the basic skills you will need to kiteboard. You will be taught the important fundamental aspects to kiteboarding, including piloting skills, launching and landing safely and equipment set-up. Take a one or two hour lesson if you are new to kiteboarding, learn to fly the kite with confidence!
Our kiteboarding lessons are offered at three locations on Vancouver Island: Victoria, Nitinat Lake and Tofino. Lessons include use of the latest gear from Ocean Rodeo and tours include transportation, camping accommodations and a fresh seafood dinner!
