Oak Meadows Aspen Park Stables is a 9 acre facility situated on Prospect Lake Rd, in Victoria, BC. The facility offers trail rides, lessons, boarding* and riding camps. Owner Trudy Madson first got hooked on horses at 15 years old. In over 35 years of teaching, Trudy's students have ranged in age from 5 to 95 and many have gone on to compete at higher levels.
She sees the passion in the eyes of her students & her greatest joy is to produce a competent rider that looks elegant on his or her horse, supplemented with an understanding & respect of the art & the animal. This she does by insisting that her students participate in the care of the horse that they ride before & after lessons.
